Should I use Black Hat SEO or White Hat SEO?

If you want to make some quick cash, there are some great ways to use Black Hat Tactics (against search engine guidelines), but you risk having your hard work go to waste shortly afterwards. Granted, I see plenty of websites out there that have been running questionable methods for years and have not been penalized. Personally, I would be depressed if all my hard work was cut off at the knees due to some cheap tricks.

The decision is up to you, but if you work with the system (White Hat), you're sure to see long-term results and enjoy residual returns. There are also grey hats that tend to push the envelope to see what they can get away with. This is usually done by using methods that have not been specifically denounced by any Search Engine Guidelines, but are obviously a bit deceitful. If you want to make it to Google heaven, you need to live a pious life. Though breaking the rules can be fun and can offer quick and easy revenue, you're likely to have to start over again.
